ACCOMMODATION

Deluxe safari tents at Kakadu Culture Camp

We have deluxe canvas safari tents for guests who want to camp with us overnight while touring Kakadu. Accommodation is available Monday to Friday, or weekends by special arrangement.
Limited numbers means a relaxing evening and the chance to mix socially with your Aboriginal hosts.
Located in a unique bush setting while still close to solar hot showers and toilets, our safari tents are both roomy and comfortable and available in a variety of configurations including for families (Mum, Dad, 2 kids) a double bed and double bunks, a double bed for couples, or 2 single beds per cabin.
Everything is supplied, towels, soap etc., just bring a torch and a toothbrush and wake up to the sound of brolgas and kookaburras!
Each safari tent is named after wildlife we often see on our night boat cruise. The Ginga (saltwater crocodile) tent, Namarngorl (barramundi), Marrawuddi (white breasted sea eagle), Gumugen (freshwater crocodile) and Warradjan (pig nose turtle) tent etc.

Breakfast and dinner included! Enjoy a sitdown dinner with the Hunter family in our comfortable camp kitchen and dining area. The menu changes on a daily basis and can include Barramundi, BBQ Buffalo, Kangaroo and Crocodile! Vegetarians are also catered for.
Price is $120 per person per night (children $35pp) twin  share including dinner and continental breakfast. Booked tours are at extra cost.
Check in is 4.30 pm or earlier with prior arrangement. Our camp kitchen and dining area has a range of amenities including a library stocked with rare books/DVDs on Kakadu and Arnhem Land, and 'Kid's Corner' has books and cultural activities on the computer to keep them occupied after dinner.
